Karnataka PUC II Exam 2021 has been cancelled, as per the announcement by the State Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar on June 4, 2021. The exam has been scrapped for all students in the states due to the upsurge in Covid-19 cases in the country.
For Karnataka SSLC Exams 2021, Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar stated that the government has done all necessary preparation for conducting it. Hence, the SSLC Exam 2021 will be held in the third week of July 2021 for all registered candidates in Karnataka.
Referring to the examination, the Education Minister added that the final decision on Karnataka PUC II Exam 2021 was taken after receiving feedback from stakeholders. As for SSLC Exam 2021, he added that only two examinations will be conducted in the states.
Karnataka SSLC Exams 2021 will only include one language exam, and multiple-choice questions on science, maths, and social science subjects. The exam will be managed, and invigilators by the vaccinated teachers.
Earlier, the Karnataka Government released tentative dates for both Karnataka SSLC, 2nd PUC 2021 Exam. However, soon after the release of CBSE's decision of Class 12th Exam 2021 cancellation, the Karnataka board decided to rethink the decision on the state examination.
While announcing the decision, Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar stated that the final decision on cancelling the 2nd PUC Exam 2021 was taken to ensure the safety of the students.
He further added that Karnataka is with other states like Gujarat, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh in Class 12th Exam cancellation.
Many states, including Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Goa, and Rajasthan have already decided to cancel the class 12th board exam 2021 due to the increasing cases of coronavirus pandemic.
Keeping in mind the current pandemic situation in the country, it is expected that other states, which are yet to release their final decision for the class 12th exam, will release their statements in the upcoming days.
