The Karnataka Education Department has decided to conduct Pre-University exams from August 19, 2021. A total of 187 centres have been set up across the state for the smooth conduction of these exams.
Additionally, B.C.Nagesh, the Primary and Secondary Education Minister of Karnataka has announced today on August 14, 2021, that the supplementary Pre-University exams will be conducted from August 19 to September 3, 2021.

Due to the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, these exams will be organised at 187 different centres across Karnataka, to provide maximum social distancing keeping in mind the safety precautions for the students. The State Education Minister has directed all district administrations to prepare for these examinations by August 17 so that the Pre-University exams can be smoothly conducted.
Announcing the schedule, the State Education Minister also said that a total of 18,414 students from 5,546 colleges have applied to appear for these supplementary exams and they may appear for them on the specified dates.
These exams have been organised to give an opportunity to write supplementary exams for those who were absent and also for those who are not satisfied with their results. The minister has also ordered all the District Deputy Commissioners to make sure that there is no sort of discrepancy during the examination.
