JSS Ayurveda Medical College Convocation held; 100 Degrees were Awarded

New Delhi: JSS Ayurveda Medical College convocation was inaugerated by Dr. B.S. Prasad, president of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Board of Ayurveda.

"There is an increased need for doctors all throughout the world, including India," he remarked.

"JSS Educational Institutions offer quality education in addition to better basic facilities, and the entire administrative board is making a lot of effort in this regard. It is only due of the honest efforts of the teachers who are playing a significant part in determining your future as a doctor that so many of you have graduated successfully from examinations. Nothing would be possible without the efforts of the teachers. As a result, I thank the entire teaching profession," he stated, as quoted by Star of Mysore.

He gave advice to medical students who earned their degrees to concentrate on giving excellent care while in practise. "Doctors are more in demand today than ever before, not just in India but everywhere else in the world. In addition to haunting humanity, the COVID pandemic has compelled us to learn about taking precautions," he continued.

"Compared to the previous 15 years, people's lifestyles and eating habits have changed significantly. Everyone used to get a nice night's sleep after finishing their dinner early. However, due to the shift in lifestyle, people are now sleeping in and rising late, which is leading to a number of illnesses. Through our Ayurvedic System of Medicine, we must raise awareness of these modified eating and lifestyle practises, according to Dr. Prasad.

"The Union Government has launched the initiative "Heal in India; Heal by India," which offers Indian healthcare professionals the chance to go abroad in order to further their professional goals. Special VISAs are being issued in connection with this programme. Under this curriculum, students should travel to different nations, learn about the local Ayurvedic practises, and gain knowledge of the local tourism sectors, Dr. Prasad said.
