JKBOSE will also complete the detailed procedure for publishing results as well as a marking scheme in the near future, according to the statement.
On June 1, Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a high-level meeting and decided to cancel the Class 12 CBSE board exams. Other boards, such as CISCE and NIOS, followed suit and cancelled board exams.
Several other states, including Tamil Nadu, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh, have also abolished state board exams. Assam, on the other hand, is an exception, with the state government announcing that the board exam will be held in August.
Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir recently announced a 48-day summer vacation for educational institutions up to Class 12, including recognised private schools, located in the Jammu division's summer zone. According to an official order, all government and recognised private schools up to class 12 in Jammu division (summer zone) will observe summer vacation from June 8 to July 25, as has been done in the past.
