Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on January 5, released a set of model question papers for the Jharkhand class 10th students to prepare well for the upcoming Jharkhand board exams 2021. Additionally, the board is set to release model test papers for class 12th in a day or two.
Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) secretary Mahip Kumar Singh said,” Model question papers for students of Class 12, who will appear for the examination this year, are also ready. It will be released in a day or two”.
He added, “The marking pattern shown in the Jharkhand board model question papers would be the same in the Jharkhand board exams 2021. It would help students to prepare accordingly.”

According to the first set of model test papers for Class 10, the question paper of every subject, excluding science, will be of 90 marks. The rest 10 marks will comprise of the internal assessment, which will be given by the school authorities.
The written exam of science on the other hand will comprise 80 marks. The remaining 20 marks in Jharkhand board exams 2021 will be allotted by the school, out of which, 10 marks for practical and 10 marks for the internal assessment.
The 30% marks will be for the multiple-choice question or fill in the blank questions, the other 20% for very short answer type questions. According to the first set of Jharkhand board model test papers, 20% marks will be covered by long and short answer type questions.
JAC officials said, due to the fact that the schools remained closed till March the internal assessment was reduced to 10 marks, which are usually 20 marks. Jharkhand board has also declared the examination marking pattern for the intermediate.
In Jharkhand board exams 2021 written examination of non Practical subjects i.e. Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, History, Political Science, Economics and Social Science would be of 100 marks. These Jharkhand board exams will hold 30 MCQs and 10 fill in the blank type questions of one mark each.
