Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) has released its schedule for its upcoming exam on its official website; jest.org.in. JEST exam is organized by the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR).
According to the official schedule released by the TIFR, the registration for the JEST exam will begin on January 11, 2021. Following the closing of the registration window on February 14, 2021, the exam will be conducted on April 11, 2021.

JEST is recognized by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) as a National Eligibility Test (NET). Students who are seeking admissions in Integrated Ph.D/PhD programmes in Theoretical CS/Neuroscience/ Computational Biology or Physics can apply for the exam.
Following the successful clearance of the exam, students can get admissions to one of the institutes accepting JEST scores. Each institute has its own eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to check it before applying for admissions.
JEST 2021: Steps to Fill the Application Form
The JEST application form will be available via the online mode. Students who are interested in appearing for the exam and register by following these steps.
Step 1: Visit the official JEST website; jest.org.in
Step 2: Find the notification for JEST 2021 and after reading it click on the register option
Step 3: Fill in the required details. After this, you will get your registration id and password
Step 4: Log in using your credentials and fill all the details in your JEST application form
Step 5: Upload your photo and signature as per the specifications
Step 6: Submit your application form after checking for any mistakes
Step 7: Pay the application fee and then take a print out of your application form
