JCECE (LE) ECE Admission 2020: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who seek admission into the second year (lateral entry) of engineering courses through JCECE (LE) ECE Admission 2020 shall fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Minimum 45 % aggregate marks in the diploma examination in engineering/ technology
- Minimum 45 % aggregate marks in B.Sc. degree with subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Graphics and Engineering Mathematics.
- B.Sc. stream must have passed Class 12th with maths as a compulsory subject.
- 5% relaxation is provided to reserved category candidates
Important Note: Candidates belonging to the B.Sc stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats along with Diploma candidates.

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can fill the JCECE (LE) ECE Admission 2020 application form through online mode by following the below instructions:
Step 1: Visit the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) official website: jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the “Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (Lateral Entry) 2020” link available on the home page.
Step 3: On the next window, click on the “Register” button mentioned on the right side of the page.
Step 4: JCECE (LE) ECE Admission 2020 Application Form will be displayed on the new screen.
Step 5: Fill in all the necessary information prescribed on the application form. Then, click on “Save & Next”.
Step 6: On the next page, enter the academic and communication details.
Step 7: Upload the scanned copy of the coloured photograph, signature, and left thumb impression.
Step 8: At last, submit the application fee through an online payment mode. Verify the details and take the print out for further purposes.

JCECE (LE) ECE Admission 2020 Application Fee: General and BC- I/II candidates are required to pay the application form fee of INR 900 through online payment modes such as Debit Card, Credit card, or Net Banking. The application form fee for SC/ST candidates is INR 450.
