January 15, 2021: The Directorate of School Education (DSE) is set to establish a digital studio for teachers to deliver online lectures in Jammu state.
The Union Ministry of Education has established the “Samagra Shiksha Scheme” under which digital studios have been set up in the states.
Additionally, an official Youtube channel named 'Shiksha Darpan' will be made under Samagra Shiksha Scheme, in which video content and e-magazine named 'Shiksha Patrika' made by teachers, students, and teachers will be released.

Director of School Education in Jammu, Anuradha Gupta said "While the directorate will set up the studio very soon, various measures to improve quality of education through digital interventions need to be put in place for making learning more efficient and effective".
Referring to the scheme, she further added that the idea of establishing a digital studio for teachers in order to deliver the best online lectures in the states will soon be made possible under the Samagra Shiksha Scheme.
As per National Education Policy 2020, students need exposure to art, culture, and other activities, which are now being added as a part of the syllabus for students, she further added.
Directorate of School Education (DSE) is set to use various digital, and social media means in order to reach out to students, parents, staff members, and other stakeholders, and provide them a means to showcase their talents.
Digital mode of education and information technology-enabled platforms has become an important medium in the time of the Coronavirus pandemic, Anuradha Gupta added.
