JAC Delays Scheduled Exams of Class 10th, 12th; Check Details Here


The Jharkhand Board (JAC) is planning to postpone the exam dates for Classes 10 and 12. The state education department asserted on Tuesday to rethink the scheduled 10-12th examination dates from March 9-26, 2021. 

JAC classes 10th & 12th syllabus has been lessened by 40%. The Jharkhand Education Department is considering that the provided two months before the exam will be enough or not for students to finish the syllabus. Usually, JAC exams commence in February.

Senior officials have informed that the decision regarding this matter is made and an official statement will be announced soon. They also brought out that various factors were taken into Consideration to make the decision. 

Director of the Secondary Education Board, Jata Shankar Choudhary said that they have considered the scheduled exam dates confirmed by different boards from neighboring states regarding this topic.

JAC Chairman Arvind Singh expressed that the imposed lockdown for the pandemic has caused the situation of delaying the board exams.

Adding further, Singh said that JAC doesn’t prefer to halt the commencement of the board exam further as it will implicate the announcement of JAC Result 2021.

Arvind notified that it is likewise being pointed out that conducting exams, evaluations, and results will extend durations because of the COVID-19 condition. Meanwhile, from the end of December, the schools were reopened and offline teaching started for classes 10 and 12.
