JAC Class 10 Board Exam 2022: Exam to be Conducted in Two Terms; Details Here


The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has planned to hold the upcoming Jharkhand Board Class 10 exam 2020 in two terms. Following the path of CBSE, JAC has taken this decision to hold the exam in two terms.

The JAC has released a notification notifying that JAC board exam 2022 for class 10 for the current academic session 2021-22 will be conducted in two different terms, i.e, the exams will be held at the end of each term.

The first term exam for Class 10 students of Jharkhand Board will be conducted in December 2021 while the second term of JAC board exams 2022 will be held at the end of the academic session in March – April 2022.

JAC Class 10 Board Exam 2022: Application Process Begins

With the Jharkhand Class 10 Board Exams 2022 to be conducted in two terms, the JAC has decided to start the application process for the first term of the Jharkhand board exams for class 10 students from October 27, 2021. 

According to the JAC notification, the students will be able to register for the JAC Matric Term 1 Exam 2022, with regular fee till November 13, 2021. Following this, the candidates will be able to register for the exam with late fee-payment from November 14 to 18, 2021. 

Students can fill the application form online using their school user ID and password on the official JAC website @jac.jharkhand.gov.in.

JAC Class 10 Board Exam 2022: Instruction under the New Scheme

The Jharkhand Academic Council commonly known as the Jharkhand Board has issued a set of important instructions on the notification for the students appearing in the JAC Class 10 exam 2022. 

  • The first term of the Jharkhand board class 10 exam will be MCQ based and it will be conducted through the OMR sheets. 
  • The second term exam will be subjective in nature. It will consist of very short answer type, short and long answer type descriptive questions. 
  • The Jharkhand board will shortly release the bifurcated syllabus for both terms on its official JAC website.

Since the Jharkhand board exams for Class 10 students will be held in two terms, the final result for the Matric Exam will be released only at the end of the second term as a cumulative result.
