IIT Ropar Begins Application Process for Online Deep Learning Course; Check Here to Apply

IIT Ropar has opened the application window for deep learning courses via NPTEL. Interested students can apply online for admission to the course. 

IIT Ropar is offering various optimization algorithms such as Gradient Descent, Nesterov Accelerated Gradient Descent, Adam, AdaGrad, and RMSProp to learn within this course. After this course, students will be qualified to work with the deep architectures used for solving various Vision and NLP tasks.

What is Deep Learning?

Deep learning is an artificial intelligence (AI) function that simulates the nature of the human brain functions. Companies like Google, Microsoft, IBM, Facebook, Twitter, etc have successfully utilized it to understand deep problems in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing.

• Candidates must know Linear Algebra, Probability Theory, etc.
• Or, candidates must-have done a course on Machine learning.

IIT Ropar Deep Learning Course: How to Collect Course Certificate 

• Candidates need to register for the proctored exam.
• Candidates need to pay the exam fees of Rs 1000/-
• Candidates need to obtain 25% marks from the course assignments and 75% from the Proctored Certification Examination.
• Both of the scoring criteria need to be fulfilled.
• After the exam candidates will receive a printed certificate stamped from NPTEL and IIT Ropar.
