Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is offering a job-oriented online course, i.e., Business Accounting Process for Executives, for students seeking a job in the finance sector.
The principal aim of the 8-week long course launched by IIT Madras would be on the processes related to Recording and Reporting of Transactions or Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
The course is being offered in partnership with Artha Vidya and it will be virtual, interactive, as well as job-oriented.
Additionally, Artha Vidya is a Bengaluru-based skill organization with an objective of skill development.

About IIT Madras’s Business Accounting Course
The self-paced course with 54 hours of study material aims to help students learn the documentation and processes involved while performing transactions in the finance and accounting sector.
The program covers a total of 12 modules. Some of them are mentioned below;
- How to process invoices
- Credit notes
- Maintain customer accounts
- Dealing with queries at the accounts payable helpdesk
- How to provide data or information in standard formats and more.
The course costs INR 9558, which will be lad by Ganapathy Nagarajan, a qualified Chartered accountant with more than 35 years of professional experience. After completion of the course, students will receive a certificate from IIT Madras.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate and click on Business Accounting Course
Step 3: Read the course details and tap on ‘enroll’, at the bottom of the page.
Step 4: Fill out the registration form and upload the required documents.
Step 5: Once you have registered, make the payment.
Step 6: Take a printout for future references.
While filling the application form, candidates need to upload a passport size photograph, a copy of your aadhar card, pan card, and degree certificate.
