IIT Madras Offers Free Workshop on AI and HPC; Apply Now

In association with KLA Corporation, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will conduct a workshop on high-performance computing technology and artificial intelligence in semiconductor manufacturing. 

IIT Madras has now announced that the interested students can attend the workshop for free of cost and anyone is eligible to attend it. The workshops have been scheduled to be conducted from September 27 to October 1.

All the interested candidates are required to register by filling a Google form. The workshop will be conducted for a duration of one hour every day and the registered students will receive all the information and details regarding the workshop in their registered email. 

The workshop will cover the following topics over the course of five days, such as challenges in adopting machine learning in manufacturing; modern artificial intelligence in manufacturing; TensorFlow: The path from model to HW; minimizing copy overhead while sharing the GPUs on a single box and artificial intelligence inference on CPUs.

How to Register for the IIT Madras AI and HPC workshop? 

Interested candidates can register for the IIT Madras workshop by filling the Google form by entering all the necessary details such as name, institute name, email, contact number and designation. 

The organisers of the IIT Madras workshop are Pradeep Ramachandran, director and head of research, KLA Advanced Computing Labs and Rupesh Nasre, coordinator for NSM Nodal Centre for Training in high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.

Lately, NIRF released its Ranking for the year 2021 in which IIT Madras was ranked as number one in India in both 'Overall' and 'Engineering' category. Whereas in the NIRF 2019 and NIRF 2020 Rankings, IIT Madras had scored 83.88 and 85.31 respectively.
