IIT Madras: Next Group For Online Certification Courses in AI and Data Science For Women Announced; Check Details Here

IIT Madras has announced that they will start the next batch of online certification courses for women in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Software, and Cybersecurity under the Career Back to Women programme.

The courses will be done in an online manner via online classes. IIT Madras has invited applications for the same as a part of their women empowerment initiative.

These online AI and Data Science courses aim to encourage and help women to actively participate in the field of IT through reskilling and upskilling in the field of new and emerging technology.

The participants will receive a certificate of completion from IIT Madras on the completion of the course. However, to be eligible for admissions to these courses, the applicant will need to clear the Back to Tech Track (BTCUBE) exam, which is compulsory. The course is supposed to start on December 13, 2020.

To participate in the course, the applicant will need to pay a fee of INR 35000. The course would last for 40 weeks and will be conducted only on the weekends for two hours. Lectures for the course will be delivered by faculty and industry experts from IIT Madras. This would ensure that the students would be taught by the best of the best.

The course would also include interactive lectures with other students and faculty members. This would provide the students with an authentic classroom experience in a virtual setting.

The participants would also be provided access to FISST Wizard Cloud Campus which is a user friendly and easy to use cloud platform.

The course is one of the many initiatives taken by the Institute for the promotion of online education and women empowerment. IIT Madras has started many online courses this year to promote upskilling during the time of lockdown.
