October 26, 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras's Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (RBCDSAI) has recently launched ‘RBCDSAI Industrial Consortium’ to support industries working on artificial intelligence.
October 26, 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras's Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (RBCDSAI) has recently launched ‘RBCDSAI Industrial Consortium’ to support industries working on artificial intelligence.
With the initiative of the IIT Madras, the industry members will be offered with an opportunity to learn about the scientific development and latest trends of the Artificial Intelligence field under the Industrial Consortium.
Under the Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, the interested industry members who wish to learn about information resources and cutting-edge technologies related to their field will be provided with access to various events and workshops.

While talking about the initiative of IIT Madras, Prof Balaraman Ravindran, Mindtree Faculty Fellow, and Head, RBCDSAI, said, “There is a lot of high-quality AI research happening at RBCDSAI which will help industry members in their fields.
"The idea is to use this industrial consortium as a means to disseminate the output of our research to industry partners quickly so that we can work together towards their application in the field" he further added.
RBCDSAI Consortium Membership will play an important role in helping industry members establish their resources and learn the technologies required in the data science and Al space field.
Industry experts and members who are working on artificial intelligence technologies will learn about the data science domain through the broad-based interaction of the Institute with the help of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras's RBCDSAI Industrial Consortium.
Earlier, in October 2021, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has launched an advanced diploma course for students in the virtual reality field in collaboration with the Japanese Research Firm, Monolith Research, and Training Labs
This IIT Madras Diploma Course 2021 will be offered to students through online as well as offline mode. Students who are interested in the virtual reality diploma program of the institute can check more details for the same at iitm.ac.in.
The program will be offered in collaboration with Monolith Research and Training Labs from January 2022. The admission seats available for the diploma course are now set to 50 students as of now. More details for the same are soon to be released on IIT's official website.
