IIT Madras Collaborates with Taylor & Francis Group to Amplify Research; Check How to Apply for Research Programs


Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras's Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (RBCDSAI), has collaborated with the Taylor & Francis Group, to amplify research projects. 

Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIT Madras is one of the leading interdisciplinary research centers in the country today. The centre has twenty-eight faculty spanning ten departments for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. 

The head of RBCDSAI, Professor Balaraman Ravindran, said that the COVID-19 pandemic has pointed out the importance of opening up and collaborating in the scholarly publishing industry to share research more efficiently.

RBCDSAI PhD MS Program: How to Apply? 

Interested candidates can apply for the research programs in RBCDSAI by enrolling for the Interdisciplinary Ph.D and M.S. programme (IDRP) at IIT Madras. Go through the following steps to apply for the research programs. 

Step 1: Visit the official IIT Madras website.

Step 2: On the homepage, select Data Sciences & AI stream to apply for RBCDSAI. 

Step 3: Fill in all the details and submit the application form.

Step 4: Take a printout of the same for further reference.

Note: Candidates applying for the PhD/MS program should be skilled in any high-level programming language (C/ C++/ MATLAB/ Python). Candidates with a mathematics background are highly preferred. IIT Madras will select the candidates for the PhD/ MS program by conducting a written test (online) and an interview process.
