Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has introduced a free course on Cloud Computing which will introduce the aspects of cloud computing, management, security challenges, and future research.
IIT Kharagpur Cloud Computing course will be an eight-week programme offered without any charges. The course curriculum is designed to provide basic knowledge of Computer Architecture and Organization. Another benefit will be networking.

IIT Kharagpur Cloud Computing Course Curriculum
The IIT Kharagpur 8 week-long course will include the following topics:

- Service Management in Cloud Computing
- Data Management in Cloud Computing
- Resource Management in Cloud
- Cloud Security
- Open Source and Commercial Clouds, Cloud Simulator
- Research trend in Cloud Computing and Fog Computing
IIT Kharagpur Cloud Computing Course will be taught by Prof. Soumya K. Ghosh, who has worked for Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in the area of geographic information system and satellite remote sensing.
After completing the course, the candidates who wish to receive the certificate will have to register and write the proctored exam to be held on April 25, 2021. The examination fee of INR 1,000 is to be payable by such candidates.
