IIT Kanpur IEEE Winter School 2020: How to Register?
IIT Kanpur’s second IEEE Winter School 2020, a virtual school, is organized in the fog and edge computing field to discuss various research topics on future 6G and next-generation “Internet of Things services and applications”.
Candidates who wish to participate in the second edition of IEEE Winter School 2020 organized by IIT Kanpur can register themselves for free by following the below instructions:
Step 1: Visit the IIT Kanpur official website: iitk.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the “2nd IEEE ComSoc winter school on Fog/Edge Computing 2020” link under the latest news section available on the homepage.
Step 3: On the next screen, click on the “Registration” tab.
Step 4: Click on the link “Registration”. You will be directed to a google form page.
Step 5: Fill in the required information and click on Submit.
Note: IEEE/COMSOC committee will inform the selected candidates through their registered email id.
Professor Rajesh M Hegde of IIT Kanpur and Dr. Tao Zhang of NIST, USA will be organizing the 2nd edition of the two-day virtual IEEE Winter School 2020.
In the two-day virtual IEEE Winter School 2020, IIT Kanpur will propose views on how to identify potential roadblocks in the fog and edge computing field. Also, they aim to solve these technical challenges for the upcoming 6G wireless Network.
NGMN Alliance in Germany (emphasizes Telecom and Applications) and Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) in the US (emphasizes Data Telecom and Services) are also conducting similar research for next-generation IoT Services and Applications and future 6G wireless Network.
