IIT Jodhpur Convocation to be Organized Using Artificial Intelligence on December 6; Check Details

Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur has organized its Convocation to be held virtually on December 6 using Artificial Intelligence. Read details here.

A total of 232 students will be participating in the convocation organized by IIT Jodhpur. 117 B.Tech students, 33 M.Tech students, and 21 PhD students will be awarded degrees virtually in the convocation ceremony.

The “Deep Learning” technology is the key that triggered the revolution of artificial intelligence in today’s world. 

Geoffrey Hinton, one of the pioneers of Deep Learning technology and recipient of the Turing Award will be the chief guest of the Convocation ceremony at IIT Jodhpur.

The official statement stated that Hinton will be joining the convocation event of IIT Jodhpur virtually from Toronto on December 6, 2020. 

Amardeep Sharma, the spokesperson of IIT Jodhpur stated that the newly established Schools of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AODE) will also be inaugurated in the convocation event virtually by the chief guest Hinton and R Chidambaram, Chairman.
