Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar has planned to organise JEE Open House 2021 for ambitious B.Tech students on October 23 at 6 pm.
The main objective of the IIT Gandhinagar's virtual interactive event is to train the JEE (Advanced) qualified students and their parents about various engineering branches of study at IITs and various career opportunities.
With the help of the event, aspirants will also gain the understanding of the IIT system and its functioning. According to the press statement from IIT Gandhinagar, the IITGN JEE Open House 2021 features different sessions with the deans of academic and student affairs, student leadership, and alumni of the institute as well as a session by Sudhir K Jain, Director, IIT Gandhinagar.
Further, students will also be able to clear their queries, doubts related to UG education at IITs through the open house event.

The Institute has informed that students who have secured a rank of 1000 or better in JEE Advanced will receive a scholarship equivalent to the tuition fees of the entire undergraduate programme at IIT Gandhinagar.
Kabeer Jasuja, Dean of Academic Affairs, IIT Gandhinagar, said that IITGN has taken the initiative of hosting the JEE Open House to reach out to the IIT aspirants and their parents to offer them a deeper insight and understanding about various opportunities and possibilities available to them at the institute.
The main idea of the event is to guide prospective students to make informed choices about the institute and specializations available. With the current pandemic scenario, it will be convenient for the students to attend the online event from anywhere in the world, he said.
