IIT Bhubaneswar Placements 2022: Highest Domestic Salary Recorded at INR 44.10 LPA


New Delhi: IIT Bhubaneswar has successfully concluded its placement process for B.Tech and dual degree B.Tech batch of 2022, where the highest domestic salary was recorded at INR 44.10 LPA. 

The official placement report for the BTech, MTech, and Dual Degree Branch was released by IIT Bhubaneswar. Currently, the BTech CSE/ BTech ECE & BTech Electrical Branch was offered the highest compensation during the recruiting process, which is INR 44.1 Lakh annually.

The official data of IIT Bhubaneswar revealed that the placement rate for the students pursuing UG courses was over 94 percent as of July 20, 2022. 

A total of 293 BTech students received lucrative offers during the Placement. Almost 6 students managed to grab the highest domestic CTC of INR 44.10 LPA. 

The report stated that the placement rate for MTech graduates is over 88 percent. However, the average pay for B.Tech and M.Tech students was INR 18.95 Lakh per year and 10.34 Lakh per year, respectively.

PSU's like Oil India Limited, BEL, IOCL, GAIL, Tatagarh Wagaon Ltd & C-DAC took part in the IIT Bhubaneswar Placements 2022. 

Some of the prominent Global companies such as Google, Amazon, Byjus, Gojek, Unacademy, Mathworks, Goldman Sachs, GE India, Flipkart, Adobe, Toppr Vedanta, Qualcomm, TCS R & D, Samsung, FlyFin, Paytm, DE Shaw, L&T, LTI, amongst others also participated in the placement drive.

Last year, the highest compensation paid during the placement drive was INR 56 LPA, while the average salary offered for the 2021 batch was INR 16.2 LPA.
