December 03, 2020: IIT Bhubaneswar will conduct its ninth Annual Convocation on hybrid mode on December 04, 2020. Students of the university will be able to join the event through online mode, or in person.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar 9th convocation will be addressed by the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokriyal through an online conference. Union Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre will also join the event as the guest of honor.

IIT Bhubaneswar 9th Convocation: Highlights
During the 9th convocation, 446 students will receive their confer degree, out of which 35 Ph.D., 141 MTech, 70 MSc, and 200 BTech students will be presented during the convocation.
IIT Bhubaneswar will award students with gold, and silver medals to students. Given below is the details of the award ceremony of convocation:

Gold Medals and Silver Medals will be given to students with high achievements during the convocation. Silver Medals will be awarded to high achievers from all departments, while gold medals will be given to students with high scores.
IIT Bhubaneswar Director, Professor R V Raja Kumar said, "the convocation is a celebration of the graduation of students who earned their degrees through hard work and the institute is keen on their live participation".
The Union Education Minister will also inaugurate the IIT-B student activity center (SAC), along with play courts, the building of the School of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Management.
