IISc Bangalore B.Tech Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is August 31

New Delhi: IISc Bangalore has begun the application process for the B.Tech programme for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @iisc.ac.in by August 31, 2022. 

IISc Bangalore offers a 4-year B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing Course. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech programme for the August Cycle, can submit their applications from June 1, 2022.

IISc Bangalore B.Tech Admission 2022: Highlights 

The seat breakup of the B.Tech course is 40 + 8 (20% supernumerary seat for female) + 4 (10% Foreign nations/NRI/OCI)]. 

IISc Bangalore B.Tech Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions into the B.Tech programme will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria which are mentioned below. 

• Candidates must have cleared class XII or equivalent from a recognized board with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, a language, and any subject other than the above four.
• Candidates who are expecting to complete their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in 2022 are also eligible. 
• Candidates must have secured a first-class or 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or equivalent). 

IISc Bangalore B.Tech Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidate's selection to the B.Tech course will be based on valid Rank inJEE (Advanced) National Entrance Exam 2022. 
• Selection will also be made depending upon the merit list in any of the following exams such as JEE Main -2022, JEE Advance-2022, and NEET(UG)-2022. 

IISc B.Tech Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of IISc Bangalore @iisc.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 800 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
