National Commission for Women (NCW) has collaborated with Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) to launch an online module called ‘Do Your Venture’ for interested women entrepreneurs.
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) and National Commission for Women (NCW) collaboration has launched an active digital learning program in which over over 1,000 aspiring women-entrepreneurs have already participated.
With the launch of an online ‘Do Your Venture’ module, NCW and the Institute of Management Bangalore will encourage entrepreneurs who are equipped with the necessary tools and techniques to launch their own ventures.

The digital program has been fully sponsored by the National Commission for Women. The program is specially designed to offer systematic, and scientific management online lessons to entrepreneurs.
Through the program, over 5,000 budding women entrepreneurs will be offered hands-on and action-oriented classes in order to provide them with one-of-a-kind testing entrepreneurial opportunities.
NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma said, “Socio-economic development can be achieved only when women become equal partners in the workforce. The National Commission for Women is proud to have handheld so many women in realizing their dream of becoming entrepreneurs".

"We believe that the beneficiaries of this program will inspire other women to become self-reliant thereby leading to a larger involvement of women in India’s workforce. Together, we will realize the dream of an Atmanirbhar Bharat, led by women" he further added.
Referring to the same, Prof Venkatesh Panchapagesan, Chairperson, NSRCEL added that due to the covid-19 pandemic, the business world has faced many problems. With this program, we aim to encourage businesswomen to turn the challenges into opportunities.
He further added that in the past years, entrepreneurs, especially women who own small businesses have faced many problems. In this twenty-year journey at NSRCEL, our goal is to provide support to thousands of women entrepreneurs.
Along with the launch of the digital program, NSRCEL at IIMB has also successfully completed the first batch of NCW’s Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship program. The first batch of the ‘Do Your Venture,’ module included over 852 learners who have completed their program.
The program offered by NSRCEL and IIMBx is of a total of six months duration. During the program duration, the participants will be offered with strong action philosophy in developing entrepreneurial ideas.
The digital program is offered in accordance with NCW’s nationwide initiative. With this initiative, the NCW aims to help women entrepreneurs in their respective fields, and encourage them to scale their activities.
