New Delhi: IIM Udaipur summer placement procedure for the 2021-23 batch was concluded with a 65.72% rise in average stipend to Rs 1,12,807. Stipends of up to Rs 3 lakh were given to IIM Udaipur students.
The students earned stipends of up to Rs 3 lakh from the fast-moving consumer goods and consultancy sectors, according to a statement from IIM Udaipur.
The top 10% of the 300 students who were placed via the institute received an average stipend of 2.62 lakh, the top 20% received an average of Rs 2.22 lakh, and the top 50% received an average of Rs1.61 lakh.
Janat Shah, director of IIM Udaipur said, "It is gratifying to see that IIM Udaipur has also grown so much in terms of the patronage and support of the industry in its short history of 10 years. Our summer placements this year, despite challenges of Covid and business uncertainties, reflect it. We are delighted to welcome the campus engagement of new recruiters and thank the ones from the past for continuing to repose their faith in the talent of our students".

More than 80 companies made offers to IIM Udaipur's 11th batch students, with more than 50 of them being new recruiters. The number of bids from the consultancy industry increased by 60%, according to the institution.
Among the companies that participated in IIM Udaipur's summer placements were Airtel, Amadeus, Amazon, Amway, Bain & Co., Byju's, Crompton Greaves, Emami Agrotech, GamesKraft, IDFC First Bank, Info Edge, Mahindra Holidays, and Malabar Group.
Many companies that recruited IIM Udaipur students in the past, including Accenture Strategy, Accenture Technology, Aditya Birla Capital, Amul, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, BNY Mellon, BPCL, Capgemini, Casio, Cisco, Cognizant, Cummins, and others, have returned with more offers, this time as well.
