In a recent update, IIMU has partnered with CGI, one of the top IT and business firms to provide industrial exposure to its students. The institute is also considering modifying the course content as recommended by CGI.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd for the sake of exposing their students to the real industry world. The collaboration will accelerate projects, engage in Knowledge transfer and share industry level insights.
Being a renowned global firm, CGI has collaborated with IIMU to offer the students industry insights in the form of co-creating knowledge through case studies, research papers, white papers, and developing industry-level frameworks.

On the day of announcement, Professor Janat Shah, Director of IIMU said that with the help of CGI there is an opportunity for the students to become industry ready and experience industry-relevant projects at the intersection and business management for the digital industry.
George Mattackal, President, Asia Pacific Global Delivery Centers of Excellence, CGI was pleased to have joined together with IIMU. He said their aim was to inspire the students and provide insights into the IT industry.

This will not only help them to join the digital industry with experience but also grow within themselves as per the current industry requirements.
The alliance with the CGI is surely a milestone for IIMU and the students studying in the institute. CGI is planning to organize workshops, special training and consultations on the program, assist and mentor students throughout the tenure of the program.
Apart from this, CGI has also become a prominent recruiter for IIMU during the placement process.
