New Delhi: IIM Udaipur recently held an inaugural ceremony of its 2022-23 batches of one-year MBA in Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) and MBA Digital Enterprise Management (DEM).

The inauguration event was held in the presence of Director of IIM Udaipur, Professor Janat Shah and Professor Rajesh Agrawal, Chairperson of one-year MBA Program Committee along with Kamesh Mullapudi, Managing Director, Deloitte Consulting (US-India).
Additionally, CP Gurnani, the CEO and Managing Director of Tech Mahindra attended the inauguration event of IIM Udaipur MBA DEM and MBA GSCM as the chief guest, held in the institute's campus.
Talking about the event, Professor Janat Shah, Director, IIM Udaipur, said, "Due to COVID, it is for the first time in two years that I am welcoming you all to the offline sessions this year".
"IIMU has focused on being a distinct institution, and the Digital Enterprise Management Center of Excellence as well as the MBA- DEM program (introducing its third batch) is playing a pivotal role in building it” he further added.

IIM Udaipur: First in India to Offer MBA in DEM & GSCM
IIM Udaipur is the only leading management institute in India that offers a full-time MBA program in the Digital Enterprise Management domain to students. The program is offered for a duration of one year on campus.
Students interested in taking up IIM Udaipur MBA Programs, should note that the institute also offers students with an option to specialize in the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) domain and learn from experienced faculty members.
IIM Udaipur MBA GCSM and MBA DEM programs are executive-level one-year full-time residential programs and are open to candidates who have completed their graduation. Interested applications are also required to have at least 3 years of experience in any domain.
Talking about the course at the inaugural ceremony, Kamesh Mullapudi, Managing Director, Deloitte Consulting (US-India) stated that courses on digital and technology in the management studies field are now the need of the hour.
He said, "The recent pandemic involving the world, has brought to the fore the complexities in managing and maintaining supply chains”.
The situations of other countries, such as the Ukraine war have disrupted supply chain management. As a result, it is now the time to focus on the importance of analytics, and digitization of operations has become critical, he added.
