IIM Trichy Inaugurates Certificate Program in Business Analytics, Check Details Here


As per the latest update, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Trichy launched the first batch of the Postgraduate Certificate Programme in Business Analytics and Applications (PGCBAA) on December 23, 2020, Wednesday.

According to the official data released by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Trichy, a total of 131 students enrolled in the inaugural year. The programme is designed to help working professionals to gain the required skills and knowledge in the field of Business Analytics and Applications.

The one-year-long programme, offered in a device-to-device mode in collaboration with Jaro Education, is planning to provide a framework for modifying data into business acumen to form an effective business decision-making process.

Furthermore, while inaugurating the programme, K Ganesh from McKinsey & Company Inc put light on the need for professionals with a capability to apply analytics in business.

Kumar Alagappan from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, who was the special guest, also shared his viewpoint on the need for understanding the business, the demand of customers and the importance of the human element required in using analytics for making right decisions at the right time.

Apart from this, the varsity has started the postgraduate certificate program in Supply Chain Management on September 28, 2020. The course is offered in Direct-to-Device (D-2-D) mode. The program will be held for twelve months, with classes held once every week.
