IIM Rohtak to Organise a Two-day Workshop on Case Method Teaching from December 20


New Delhi: The United Services Institute in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi will host a two-day course on case method teaching from December 20 to December 21, organised by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak.

The participants in this participatory workshop at IIM Rohtak will receive training in case-based instruction and be given the tools to write cases for both publication and the classroom. One of the best teaching methods for business administration is the use of case studies. The importance of the case approach for student learning will be emphasised in this workshop. It is aimed at anyone interested in creating such teaching cases as well as anyone interested in using case studies as a teaching tool.

The workshop will be facilitated by Professor Amit Jain, Associate Professor, Strategy & Policy, Industrial Systems Engineering and Management, Professor Dheeraj Sharma, Director, IIM Rohtak, and Professor Anju Seth, Former Director, IIM Calcutta.

The primary audience for this course is academic institution faculty members who want to implement the case approach in the classroom. It is also for authors and case researchers who are interested in creating cases and lesson plans. For professionals in corporate learning and development who want to implement the case method and discover case development.

The workshop's registration fee is INR 11800. (all taxes inclusive). It includes lunch and drinks for the attendees in addition to workshop materials. For doctoral students and research scholars, the registration fee is INR 8000. (all taxes inclusive). Due to the limited number of seats, registration will only be confirmed after complete payment of the registration price. A certificate of participation will be given to each participant.
