IIM Lucknow Strategic Finance Course (Executive Programme) Will Commence On October 14


New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, is currently accepting applications for the fourth batch of its executive programme in strategic finance, offered in partnership with WileyNXT. 

The nine-month certificate programme at IIM Lucknow will commence online on October 14. Candidates can submit their applications on the WileyNXT website, wileynxt.com.

Bachelors with a minimum grade average of 50% may apply for the programme. At the time of enrollment, at least five years of experience in a finance-related role are necessary. Candidates who complete the programme will obtain a diploma from IIM Lucknow.

The training will enable aspiring CFOs and professionals to develop strategic financial leadership abilities that will allow them to thrive in a rapidly changing corporate environment and handle a disruptive digital economy. 

Professor of Finance and Accounting at IIM Lucknow, Dr Ajay K. Garg, stated, "Success is attained by focusing on the future and being prepared to overcome future obstacles. Modern businesses are utilising the potential of strategic financial planning to remain competitive instead of the old approach of financial reporting."

The curriculum employs blended teaching that includes live lectures, case studies, and culminating projects. It aims to assist candidates in mastering the fundamentals of strategic finance and expanding their talents beyond typical accounting and control tasks.

IIM Lucknow's Assistant Professor of Finance and Accounting, Dr. Ashish Pandey, stated, "There has been a substantial shift in the manner in which CFOs and other high-level finance professionals operate within businesses. Strategic financial planning has become a central role in the majority of businesses today."

According to the PwC Pulse poll, 48% of CFOs intend to increase digital transformation activities during the next 12 months. 

According to a second poll conducted by the CFA institute, the global association of investment professionals, artificial intelligence, and data visualisation are among the most sought-after talents among Indian investing industry experts.
