New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) has successfully concluded its summer internship recruitment drive with 100% placements for its two-year full-time Post Graduate Programmes (PGP).

The summer placement season at IIM Kozhikode attracted the participation from 122 recruiters who offered internships to 541 students with the highest stipend at ₹6.47 lakh for two months. The mean and median stipend stood at ₹2.5 lakh, an increase of 25% over the last year.
The latest reports suggest that in addition to the third batches of the PGPs in Finance and Liberal Studies and Management, the 26th batch of the IIM-flagship K's PGP also took part in the recruitment drive.

The class included students with an average of 27 months of extensive and varied pre-MBA work experience, 47% of whom were women and 45% weren't engineers.
Expressing his delight for the successful placement, IIM-K Director Debashis Chatterjee stated that the engagement by private equity and investment management firms was the highlight of the placement season as he announced the successful completion of the summer placements.
The outcomes "confirm the recruiters' confidence in the academic potential, the diverse student body, and the IIM-commitment K's to achieving excellence in all domains of engagement," Prof. Chatterjee stated.
The IIM-chairman K's of placements, Prof. Qambar Abidi, expressed his appreciation for the assistance given to the management institute, especially during the epidemic, by IIM-K alumni.
The consulting cluster made offers to about 26% of candidates this season. The IIM-Banking, K's Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) cluster also witnessed a significant increase in the range of opportunities available. This year, the average stipend increased by 27%, and 18% of offers were in the financial sector.
A total of 12% of the offers came from general management and operations, while 13% and 24% of the offers came from the sales and marketing and information technology and analytics clusters, respectively.
