New Delhi: IIM Kozhikode PGP Batch of 2022 has recorded 100% placement during its final placement drive concluded recently. The highest salary package offered to students stood at INR 69.3 lakh.

As per IIM Kozhikode, the average annual salary earned by students is INR 29 lakh, an increase of 20.1% from the previous year. The median salary, on the other hand, has risen by 22.2% in the last year to INR 25 lakh.
IIM Kozhikode Placements 2022 attracted 52 companies. A total of 62 offers were made to 53 participants throughout the recruiting process, including one international offer.
The highest salary provided during IIM-K placements was INR 69.3 lakh, with women receiving an average package of INR 30.41 lakh. The class included a wide group of people with prior job experience in manufacturing, technology, automotive, energy, retail, finance, healthcare, legal services, and family businesses.

During the placements process, the consulting cluster had the highest hiring rate of 42%, followed by the information technology and analytics area with 22%. General management and operations positions accounted for more than 25% of the offers. 7% of students were given sales and marketing jobs, while 3% were offered financial jobs.
Professor Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM-K, said that the overwhelming response received during the placements process had proven that the institute's mission to nurture young professionals with experience as potential business leaders was on a solid academic and industry footing for the second time.
The rising success of the business leadership programme, according to Professor Qambar Abidi, placements chairperson at IIM-K, is a testament to recruiting partners' trust in the institute's high-intensity and holistic curriculum and regimen.
