New Delhi: IIM Kozhikode has joined hands with the National Commission of Women (NCW), to offer an online short-term professional training programme in entrepreneurship for women.
According to the IIM Kozhikode release, the women candidates can choose between ‘Foundation Program in Entrepreneurship’ and ‘Advanced Program in Entrepreneurship’.

The four-month programmes will include lectures, discussions, entrepreneurship talks, and mentoring from various subject matter experts.
The management institute will offer the programme in both English and Malayalam language and it will comprise subject sessions for 40 hours and 20 hours of mentoring and discussion.

IIM Kozhikode Online Entrepreneurship Training Programme 2022: Eligibility
The foundation programme is designed for women seeking to enter entrepreneurship while the advanced is specifically for those intending to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.
Interested women seeking admission to the short-term online training programme should either hold a bachelor's degree or they should have an experience in running their own business to be eligible to apply. The last date to apply is August 16, 2022.
Speaking about the course, Chairperson, National Commission for Women, Ms Rekha Sharma said that the NCW has always sought to ensure equal opportunities for women in all spheres of life.
She said that the key factor in women's empowerment is economic independence, consequently, the Commission strives to provide women access to knowledge and skills they need to grow and sustain their businesses.
The institute has revealed in its release that the aim of the programme is to assist women develop their entrepreneurial skills and perspectives required to start and run sustainable businesses and contribute to society.
