IIM Indore PGP Admission 2022: Shortlist Out, PI Registration Begins @iimidr.ac.in; Check Details Here

New Delhi: IIM Indore PGP Admission 2022 shortlist has been released today, January 24, 2022, on its official website. Following this, the institute has started the phase I registration process for Personal Interview (PI). The selection of students for PGP and PGP-HRM 2022-24 will be done based on the latest admission criteria released by the institute @iimidr.ac.in. 

Eligible candidates who applied for IIM Indore may register for the Personal Interview (PI) round now. They should complete the application form after reviewing the IIM Indore Admission Criteria.

After that candidates will be shortlisted for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI), post which the final selection will be made. For admissions, the institute will also consider the CAT 2021 scores obtained by the candidates. 

This year, the candidates are required to qualify in the CAT exam with the minimum required sectional and overall percentile to be eligible for IIM Indore Admission 2022. However, overseas candidates are eligible to apply with GMAT scores. 

The minimum requirement to qualify for the PI shortlisting round is the CAT 2021 sectional score of 80 percentile and 90 overall percentile. 

IIM Indore is the only institute among the 20 IIMs which awards such a high weightage to academics in IIM PI shortlisting criteria. The key purpose of keeping the CAT 2021 score weightage low is to improve the academic and gender diversity in IIM Indore Classrooms. 

IIM Indore PGP Admission 2022: Schedule

Candidates must check the IIM Indore Admission criteria before filling out the application form for IIM Indore. Considering last year's trend, the batch size of the PGP programme will be 476 and for PGP-HRM the batch size will be 25. 

Once the IIM Indore admission form window concludes, the admission authorities will release the schedule for the selection rounds of IIM Indore admission criteria 2022.

Candidates who meet the CAT 2021 Cut-off criteria and shortlist released by IIM Indore can now register for PI Shortlisting process by following the simple step by step guide mentioned below: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIM Indore at www.iimidr.ac.in.

Step 2: From the homepage, click on the “admission” tab and then on the latest “PI Registration” link available. 

Step 3: Enter your details as required to log in and fill out the IIM Indore PI Registration 2022 form. 

Step 4: After entering the details, review your application with care and click on submit to complete your IIM Indore PI Registration 2022 process. 

IIM Indore Admission 2022: Selection Criteria 

Besides the minimum CAT score. requirements, IIM Indore evaluates a candidate's past academic performance and diversity factors. Based on the factors, candidates are invited for WAT and PI. The IIM Indore 2022 admission criteria are segregated into three stages, 

• Evaluation of CAT score 
• Shortlisting for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) 
• Final Selection

Following are the detailed selection process of IIM Indore admission criteria 2022.

IIM Indore Admission PGP 2022: Stage 1 CAT Score Evaluation 

Candidates applying for IIM Indore's two-year PGP programme must meet the requisite eligibility criteria set up by the institute. They should also satisfy the minimum sectional percentile and overall percentile in CAT 2021. 

Candidates who will meet the requirements will be called for stage 2 (Shortlist for WAT - PI) of the IIM Indore selection process. The following table illustrates the CAT cut off by IIM Indore. 

IIM Indore PGP Admission 2022: Stage 2 - Shortlisting for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI)

IIM Indore will soon release the list of provisional shortlisted candidates for round 2 on its official website. Candidates can check their status of the provisional IIM shortlist for the PI process by entering the login credentials such as CAT 2021 registration number and email id/ date of birth.

Candidates who satisfy stage 1 will be called for stage 2 which will consist of Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). 

The admission authorities shortlist the candidates from various categories such as (General, NC-OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PwD) based on the composite score mentioned in the table provided below.

IIM Admission Criteria 2022: Composite Score (CS)

*Z candidates, Z min and Z max for 10th/ SSC score and 12th/ HSC score are computed using the normalization process. These components are evaluated by normalizing the marks obtained by the candidates. 

Candidates who will get shortlisted for WAT and PI round will be notified after the completion of stage 1. All the shortlisted candidates for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) will have to attend both rounds, if a candidate fails to attend any round, then they will not be considered for stage 3. 

IIM Indore will expect a consistent and minimum performance in the different parameters of Personal Interview (PI), which will be determined by the admission committee. Candidates who fail to meet the minimum performance in any PI parameter will not be considered for the next stage of the selection process.

IIM Indore PGP Admission 2022: Stage 3 - Final Selection

Candidates satisfying the Stage 2 requirements will only be considered for the final selection round of IIM Indore. Category wise IIM Indore merit list will be released based on the Final Composite score after that provisional admission offers will be made accordingly by the authorities adhering to the reservation norms.

Similar to all the IIMs, IIM Indore will also follow the reservation norms set by the government of India (GOI). 

IIM Indore Admission 2022: Merit List

Post the conclusion of the final selection rounds, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore will finally release the final merit list which will consist of all the names of shortlisted candidates. Candidates whose names are featured on the merit list will have to accept the offer by paying an amount of acceptance fee.
