IIM Indore Organises Graduation Ceremony for GMPe UAE & GCC Batches; Details Here

New Delhi: IIM Indore has organised the graduation ceremony of the seventh and eighth batches of its General Management Programme (GMPe) for Executives in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council.

As per IIM Indore, the ceremony for graduating students was held in the presence of Professor Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore. On this occasion, a total of 70 participants from 6 countries received their Certificate of Completion. All participants were congratulated for finishing the course by Dr Mahesh Chotrani.

In addition to this, Dr Mahesh Chotrani, the founding director of Anisuma Training Institute, Professor Subin Sudhir, Chair of Executive Education, Professor Manoj Motiani, Programme Coordinator for GMPe, and Professor Subin Sudhir along with IIM Indore faculty members were also present at the event.

Addressing the graduation ceremony, Professor Himanshu Rai urged the graduating students to be courageous and follow their hearts because that is the first step to success. He believed that cultivating courage is the finest method to cultivate fortitude inside oneself.

"I am frequently asked how to be brave. I suggest that they develop bravery. Don't let your fear stop you from taking action if you intend to, he said. Every time you feel hopeless or rejected, take a moment to halt, pause, look back, and take stock of everything you have already accomplished, he said.

"You'll see how far you've already come, and you'll find the strength to move forward once more," he said. He further inspired the attendees to discover their passions, engage in introspection, and consider their life's mission.

"Determine how you want to define success because it can vary from time to time. Don't become fixated on your life's accomplishments. Life is what occurs in between those landmarks. Live in the present, take in and value each moment, and pay attention to what you're doing, he advised.

He advised the audience to adopt composure and be intelligent in his final words. "Never celebrate your victories too much, and don't wallow in disappointment. These ups and downs are a part of life, and one should keep in mind that what we have now once belonged to someone else and will again in the future, he added.

He stated that there are now 600 IIM Indore graduates living in the GCC and the UAE. Participants in the six graduating batches are from the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Muscat, Egypt, and Bahrain. IIM Indore and Anisuma Training Institute are excited to grow our families and are thrilled to extend our foreign alumni base, he said.

The IIM Indore's graduating ceremony held for General Management Programme for Executives came to an end with a certificate awarding event, during which Professor Himanshu Rai presented Certificates of Completion to the graduating participants.
