IIM Indore: New Campus Inaugurated in Mumbai on November 16, 2021; Details Here


Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) has taken an initiative to expand its campus by inaugurating a new campus in Mumbai, Hiranandani Knowledge Park, Powai. The new campus was launched by Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore on November 16, 2021. 

The inauguration ceremony of the newly launched IIM Indore campus in Mumbai was attended by Prof. Saumya Ranjan Dash, Dean-Programmes; Prof. Subin Sudhir, Chair-Executive Education, Prof. Ganesh Nidugala, and other faculty members.

The IIT Indore Mumbai campus is spread over a 20,000 sq. feet area and includes various state of the art facilities such as 7 classrooms, 2 board rooms, a meeting room, a studio room, a recreation room, a cafeteria, Library among others. 

The library facility of the Mumbai campus offers students over 700 books and e-books, along with online data, report materials, and educational materials for students to use. The campus is now expected to start its Post Graduate Program for Executives in Mumbai soon.

Referring to the initiative of IIM Indore, Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore stated that the institute has been providing excellent education and has achieved various milestones over the past 25 years. 

He said, ‘We have also expanded overseas to Dubai, UAE, offering various short and long-term executive programs in business administration, strategic financial management, strategic marketing management, and supply chain management, with our educational partners”.

“Today, IIM Indore has more than 9000+ alumni, 100+ faculty, and 15+ flagship and executive programs; including the unique 5-year integrated program in management – IPM, which completed its 10 years recently,” he further added. 

Talking about the various achievements achieved by IIM Indore, he further added that the institute has also taken various initiatives under Institutional Social Responsibility. Additionally, many contributions have been made in collaboration with the government. 

In the past years, the institute has also conducted various free-of-cost online and offline courses in the field of leadership development programs for frontline doctors. The course “KRITAJNA,” was one of the many initiatives of IIM Indore launched during the pandemic. 

Adding to the statement, he said, “While we have organized training sessions for digital literacy and financial empowerment of women; we have also collaborated with Madhya Pradesh & Uttar Pradesh Government for various initiatives”
