IIM Indore Joins Hands with University of Sheffield, UK

New Delhi: IIM Indore has joined hands with the Management School of the University of Sheffield UK to broaden its global reach.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed in this regard between IIM Indore and the University of Sheffield, which will be valid for a duration of 5 years.

IIM Indore strives to provide its students and faculty with several opportunities to broaden their horizons and gain knowledge in the field of their interests.

According to the official press release, the management institute has collaborated with more than 40 foreign education partners in 18 different countries to achieve this goal. Professor Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, and Professor Rachel Finn, Dean of The Management School at the University of Sheffield, both signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

Expressing his delight over the partnership, Professor Rai said that with three prestigious accreditations from AMBA, AACSB, and EQUIS, IIM Indore and The Management School of the University of Sheffield are both Triple Crown recognised business schools.

The Management School of the University of Sheffield concentrates on fostering socially responsible management practises through top-tier, cutting-edge research and transformative education, in contrast to IIM Indore, which seeks to develop socially conscious leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs who contribute to nation-building, he said.

He pointed out that the organisation fosters collaboration among academics, students, and research teams. He said that the institute invited academics from both institutions to take part in scholarly events such as conferences, workshops, lectures, exhibitions, and symposia.

The institute also anticipates conducting collaborative research in areas of interest. He stated that the management institute anticipates a successful partnership.

Commenting about the collaboration, Professor Rachel Finn said that the Management School at the University of Sheffield and IIM Indore are both top business schools in Asia with similar missions.

The management school is dedicated to having a beneficial impact on society at large via excellence in research and instruction.

Finn said that the global partnerships and outlook are essential to completing this purpose and that the institute officials are thrilled to explore potential collaborations around the shared beliefs with Triple-Crown IIM Indore towards attaining a fairer, greener future.
