IIM Indore Collaborates with MP Govt to Launch Online Teachers’ Training Module

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore plans to train 3.07 lakh teachers from classes 1-12 on handling stress and time management through its Online Training Module. The module is expected to sharpen the skills of teachers at the time of digital learning.

IIM Indore has collaborated with Madhya Pradesh’s CM Rise programme to create online training modules for teachers to work efficiently in the pandemic situation without any stress. The Online Module is designed with advanced technology consisting of 6 training videos and study material.

Madhya Pradesh’s CM Rise programme has helped IIM Indore to come up with this innovative idea to train the teachers in self-management. The videos and study material will be shared through Whatsapp and after clearing the modules, teachers will be attested as IIM-I certified teachers.

IIM Indore Director, Professor Himanshu Rai has also launched a Virtual Learning Classroom Studio earlier for teachers to adjust themselves with online teaching. The chief issue lies with the old teachers, as they have been accustomed to physical classes only and abrupt changes can create issues for the course completion if they are not trained with digital teaching process.
