IIM Indore, IIT Indore MS in Data Science and Management Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is July 30

New Delhi: IIM Indore and IIT Indore are jointly offering the Master of Science in Data Science and Management (MSDSM) for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal @iiti.ac.in, by July 30, 2022. 

Both IIM Indore and IIT Indore have notified the admission process for the two-year online course MSDSM through their Twitter handles. Candidates seeking admission to the programme must appear for the Data Science and Management Aptitude Test (DMAT) scheduled to be held on July 31, 2022. 

It has been notified that the application window has been extended for DMAT applicants till July 20, 2022, while the deadline to submit the application form is till July 30, 2022.

IIM & IIT Indore MSDSM Admission 2022: Dates

The two-year online Master’s degree course includes 14-15 hours per week of live lectures with a total of 900 hours of learning.

Candidates will get a benefit of academic proficiency of faculty from both the Institutes, 30 days on campus during the programme and the blend of foundational business knowledge, analytical expertise, and big-picture perspective.

IIM & IIT Indore MSDSM Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates seeking admissions into the MS programme in Data Science and Management (MSDSM) will have to meet the eligibility criteria. 

• First class (as defined by the awarding Institute/ University) or 60% or 6.0 CPI /6.0 CGPA (Scale of 10) [Relaxation for the SC/ ST/ PwD category as per Government of India rule] degree in 
• Candidates must hold a BTech/ BE/ BS/ BPharm/ BArch/ BDes/ BFtech/ Four years BSc/ MSc/ MCA/ MBA degree or equivalent to having done at least two courses in Mathematics and one in Computer Programming at a qualifying degree level. 
• Candidates must have a valid score in CAT /GATE /GMAT/ GRE/ JAM test anytime in the last three years OR DMAT (Data science and Management Aptitude Test) for those candidates who have not appeared in CAT/ GATE/ GMAT /GRE /JAM.

IIM & IIT Indore MSDSM Admission 2022: DMAT Exam 

The MSDSM course will be jointly conducted by IIT Indore and IIM Indore in a single session at the IIT Indore campus. 

• The data management aptitude test (DMAT) will be an OMR- sheet based test.
• Examinees will not be allowed to use mobile phones, calculators etc. during the test. 
• There will be two sections in DMAT, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. 
• Candidates will be given 90 minutes to solve both these sections within this time. 
• Candidates will have to score above certain threshold (as decided by the joint committee) in each of the sections to be eligible for interview process 

IIM & IIT Indore MSDSM Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of MSDSM @msdsm.iiti.ac.in

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1770 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

IIM & IIT Indore MSDSM Admission 2022: Application Fee 

Candidates will have to register online and complete the application form by paying the application fee of INR 1770 (Including GST) (for Indian applicants) or INR 2300 (Including GST) (for International applicants).

The application fee for those candidates who want to appear in DMAT would be INR 2360 (Including GST).
