New Delhi: IIM Calcutta has successfully completed its final placement for its 57th batch of the PGP programme. With a 100% placement record, the institute witnessed an average package of INR 34.2 LPA and a median salary of INR 31 LPA.
IIM Calcutta placement had the largest batch of 465 participating students getting offers from 190 recruiters. The Consulting and Finance domains together have contributed 67% share in placement 2022, with consulting sector alone accounting for 49% share.
The placement drive was held in virtual mode due to the Covid 19 outbreak. Top recruiters that participated in the IIM Calcutta placement drive made a total of 631 job offers.

This year's IIM Calcutta recruiters included job offers from Consulting, Finance, Product Management, Operations, General Management, Marketing, Manufacturing, Power, Services, and Government firms. IIM Calcutta saw various new recruiters in the placement drive of 2022. Some of them include IIFL, Nykaa, Premji Invest, Rothschild, and Zomato.
Some of the most prestigious international companies, like Emaar and Protiviti, offered high-paying international placement offers.
