IIM Calcutta PGDBA Placement 2022 Concluded, Average CTC Increased by 12.75%

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has successfully concluded its placement drive for students of the PGDBA program for the academic session 2020-2022 with 64 job offers and an increase of 12.75% in the average salary package offered to students.

As per IIM Calcutta, the placement drive was conducted for the 6th batch of PGDBA which included a total of 62 students. Out of the total students, 60 participants joined the placement session while the remaining 2 students opted out to commence their own career aspirations.

Referring to the highlights of IIM Calcutta Placement 2022, the institute's official tweet informs that "Despite the economic slowdown, the average remuneration grew by 12.75%". The medium salary package offered to students has also grown 14% from the previous year's data.

For the placement session 2020-22, the average salary package recorded for the 6th Batch of the PGDBA Program was INR 29.71 LPA, and the highest and medium salary package offered to students stood at INR 42.50 lakh per annum and INR 28.00 lakh per annum respectively.

Some of the prominent recruiters who joined the placement session were Goldman Sachs, Dr. Reddy’s Lab, Schneider Electric, Boston Consulting Group, Accenture, ICICI Bank, Viacom, and ZS Associates among others.

IIM Calcutta PGDBA Course 2022 is a joint course offered by IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur, and ISI and aims to help students to grow in the Business Analytics field. Under the course, students have an opportunity to spend a semester in each of the three institutes throughout the sessions.

The postgraduate course includes expertise in statistical learning theories for analytics, theories in Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence, and equipment and tools used in functional areas of management. These topics are taught at IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur, and ISI campuses.
