The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) programme of IIM Calcutta is of 9-months duration. It is specially curated for evolving and aspiring CFOs, CXOs and ones holding other senior leadership positions.

The course curriculum of the CFO Programme is designed to help finance professionals acquire knowledge and skills to be effective CFO and provide them with more tools to enhance their leadership and decision-making capabilities.
The Chief Financial Officer, CFO programme's second batch of live online and in-class sessions is all set to commence on March 27, 2022, and will be conducted every Sunday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

The basic eligibility to enrol for the CFO programme is that the graduate must have a minimum of 10 years of working experience along with at least 50% in graduation/ post-graduation as of Mar 27, 2022.

IIM Calcutta CFO Programme 2022: Certification
Upon successful completion of the CFO Programme, all the enrolled participants will be eligible for the IIM Calcutta Executive Education Alumni status.
They will also be awarded a Certificate of Completion from IIM Calcutta on successfully completing all evaluation components with minimum pass grades in the respective evaluation components and having a minimum attendance of 66%.
The evaluation methodology is based on the faculty's discretion and includes written tests, online exams, assignments and any other components as decided by the faculty.
Speaking about the launch of the second cohort of the CFO Programme, Prof. Ashok Banerjee of IIM Calcutta said that the CFOs role in the modern-day is increasingly inclined towards being more agile, tech-savvy compared to traditional ways.
Today, the role of the chief financial officer, CFOs act as an advisor, consultants for business expansions and take strategic decisions. In order to keep pace with the ever-increasing business demands, CFOs need to continuously upskill themselves, said Banerjee.
