The IIM Calcutta Program 2022 is specially designed for executives or managers from marketing, product/brand and sales functions or marketing analysts whose principal commitments lie in creating a market, revenues, and profits from new and existing products.
The curriculum of the program would be helpful to managers from functional areas or backgrounds other than marketing who assist the organisation's marketing efforts. Interested candidates can now apply for MDP through the official website; www.iimcal.ac.in.
IIM Calcutta Management Development Program 2022: Highlights
As per IIM Calcutta, the MDP program will be highly engaging and dynamic, including participant presentations and discussions, case studies, group activities, classroom lectures, and expert presentations. Under this program, participants will learn the below-mentioned skills:

- Plan Effectively for a Sales Job
- Motivate and direct the sales force
- Define Objectives and Evaluate Performance
- Communicate and Bargain Efficiently
- Understand Different Consumers (Individuals and Organisations)

In addition to this, the program will cover the following topics: Recognizing New Challenges Sales Professionals Face in Today's Environment, Learning to Lead Sales, Selling Methods and Techniques, Relationship vs. Transactional Selling in Personal Selling among others.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about Markets for Consumers vs. Businesses: Selling Implications, Customer Relationship Management and Key Accounts, Problems with performance management for salespeople, and Self and People Management skills.
