IIM Calcutta Collaborates with Emeritus for Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management


New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management Calcutta introduced the 10th batch of advanced programme in Supply Chain Management in collaboration with Emeritus. It is a 1-year programme to upskill Indian professionals for a high-growth career in supply chain management.

IIM Calcutta launches the Supply Chain Management programme with the aim to benefit the supply chain practitioners from manufacturing and service organisations looking for a challenge. The advanced programme drives supply chain efficiency and profitability through contemporary strategies, modelling, and analytics.

Prof. Bodhibrata Nag, Professor, Operations Management, and Prof. Megha Sharma, Associate Professor of Operations Management from IIM Calcutta, said about the programme, “In a rapidly changing business landscape marked by fast-paced technology-led disruption across supply chains globally and the uncertainties that it brings along, upskilling with contemporary insights and best practices is indispensable for business success. As per recent media reports, India will play a significant role in reshaping supply chains and could contribute more than $500 billion annually to the global economy by 2030. We have upskilled over 400 professionals since the inception of this programme. IIM-C Launches Advanced Supply Chain Management Programme: Highlights 

The programme aims at technological advancements in the supply chain domain. It is essential for professionals to continuously upskill themselves with contemporary strategies to drive logistics and supply chain operations that are resilient, agile, and future-proof.

IIM-C with the help of this programme help participants recognise, revisit, and reprioritise their logistics and supply chain strategies. The 1-year programme is delivered through an interactive session that integrates case studies, simulations, group discussions, and applied learning projects. It is distributed with two on-campus sessions and live online lecture sessions from the leading IIM Calcutta faculty.

The tenth batch of this programme begins on June 30, 2022. The program fee is INR 4,34,000 + GST, with flexible payment options and low-cost EMI options available. The last date to apply for the programme is May 19, 2022.
