New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad hosted its first batch of summer placements for the postgraduate programme (PGP) class of 2024. The first batch of the summer placement at IIM Ahmedabad had participation from over 60 companies.

Investment banking and markets, management consulting, specialty consulting, cards and financial counselling, private equity, venture capital, and asset management were the five categories of companies engaged in Cluster 1. The hiring procedure at IIM Ahmedabad was composite.
According to a declaration from IIM Ahmedabad, The Boston Consulting Group was the top employer with 28 proposals, followed by Bain and Company with 23 offers. According to a release from IIM Ahmedabad, American Express carried out nine cards and financial advisory cohort deals. re

The number of overseas offers in Cluster 1 increased by 50% at the institute. The second and third IIM Ahmedabad Clusters will occur on November 4 and 7, respectively.
Frequent recruiters, including Alvarez and Marsal, Arthur D Little, Auctus Advisors, Ernst and Young, GEPConsulting, Cannon, McKinsey and Company, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and Strategy were among the other well-known recruiters in the business world.
HSBC, Avendus Capital, Bank of America, Citibank, Credit Suisse, Estee Advisors, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and others were notable recruiters in the Investment Banking and Markets sector. With ten offers, Goldman Sachs had the most recruits in the cohort for Investment Banking and Markets.
According to the statement, companies including Blackstone, Gaja Capital, Jupiter Capita, Multiples, Premji Invest, and Venture Highway participated in the PE and VC space.
