IIIT Pune PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
CSE & ECE:
- Candidates must hold a B.Tech. / B.E. Degree in CSE/ IT/ ECE/EE or relevant area with a CGPA of at least 6.5 on a scale of 10 (or equivalent) or 65 %. OR M. Tech. /M.E. in CSE/ECE/ IT/EE or relevant area with a CGPA of at least 6 on a scale of 10 (or equivalent) or 60%
- Candidates must have a valid score in GATE.
Humanities, Social Sciences & Management:
Candidates must have passed M.A. English/ M.Phil. in English Literature, Linguistics or Social Sciences / MBA with a minimum 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 (or equivalent) or 60% marks.
Applied Mathematics & Data Science:
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Mathematics /Statistics OR Bachelor's in engineering OR Mathematics (4-year Programme) with a minimum of 55 per cent marks/ CPI of 5.5/10.
IIIT Pune PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process
- Candidate's selection to the PhD programme will be based on the written exam and interview process.
- The syllabus for the written test is based on the GATE/ NTA NET entrance examinations.
- Depending on the number of applications received and considering the time constraints and other resources for conducting written tests and/or interviews, the academic units may put additional academic performance-based shortlisting criteria.
IIIT Pune PhD Admission 2022: How to Apply?
Step 1: Visit the official application portal of IIIT Pune, iiitp.ac.in.
Step 2: Download the application form from the official website.
Step 3: Fill in all the details in the form.
Step 4: Submit the scanned copy of the application form with the latest passport size photograph, self-attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, caste certificate, applicable fee etc.
