New Delhi: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhagalpur is preparing to launch online M.Tech courses for students, working professionals and entrepreneurs for the upcoming academic session 2022-23.
As per IIIT Bhagalpur, the institute will start the first-ever batch of its three-year-long online M.Tech Courses in July 2022. The program will include two years of theory classes followed by thesis and project works in the third year.
Applicants will have the option to choose from major areas of specialization under the M.Tech Program, such as Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechatronics Engineering (MEA), etc.
Informing about the IIIT Bhagalpur Courses, Prof Dheeraj Kumar Sinha, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) stated that the admission for the online courses will be done based on a written test and interview round.
The institute will enroll bright students, working professionals and other interested candidates for IIIT Bhagalpur Admission 2022 for the online M.Tech courses. The fee structure of the courses will vary between INR 4 - INR 4.5 lakh.

Referring to the program, IIIT Bhagalpur informed that the new Master's Program (M.Tech) will be open for students, scholars, and working professionals who wish to gain skills in their respective domain but are unable to take leave from their jobs.
To make this course engaging for participants, the institute will include thesis and project work in the fifth and sixth semesters, while the first to fourth semesters will only include theoretical sessions.
In addition to this, the institute is also preparing to launch a unique four-year Bachelor's course in Mathematics and Computing Sciences (MCS). For this program, there will be no limit on the number of enrolments.
As of now, the IIIT Bhagalpur offers an M.Tech (Regular), PhD and BTech program. Its B.Tech program is offered in three specializations, namely Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Mechatronics Engineering (ME).
