New Delhi: International Institute of Information Technology, IIIT Bangalore has invited applications for admission into its two-year, full-time, interdisciplinary, Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Digital Society for the academic year 2022-23.
Candidates interested in pursuing the MSc program from IIIT Bangalore can check their eligibility criteria and apply online till May 15, 2022. The institute started its online application from March 15, 2022.
Candidates without a valid score in CAT 2021, CEED 2022, CUCET 2022 or TISSNET 2022 must appear for a written test that will be conducted by the institute on June 4, 2022.
The institute will conduct a personal interview through video calling application for shortlisted candidates with a valid score from IIITB Entrance exam or CAT 2021, CEED 2022, CUCET 2022 or TISS NET 2022, on June 5 - 6, 2022.

IIIT Bangalore M.Sc in Digital Society Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
In order to enroll for admissions into the MSc course, the candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria,
- Candidates must hold a UG degree (of at least 3 years duration) in any discipline (including arts, science, commerce, design, management, law, engineering, etc.) with a first division/class from a recognized University.
- Candidates expecting to graduate by August 1, 2022 are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have a valid score in CAT 2021, CEED 2022, CUCET 2022, or TISSNET 2022 are exempted from appearing for a written test at IIIT Bangalore.
- Working professionals can also apply.
IIIT Bangalore M.Sc in Digital Society Admission 2022: Application Process
The eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official IIIT Bangalore website @iiitb.ac.in. The online applications are available from March 15, 2022, onwards. Candidates seeking admissions into the MSc course apply online on or before the last date.
IIIT Bangalore M.Sc in Digital Society Admission 2022: Application Fee
Candidates must pay the application fee of INR 1000 online through debit/credit card /net banking to successfully submit the application form.
IIIT Bangalore M.Sc in Digital Society Admission 2022: Selection Process
Candidate's selection for the MSc course will be based on their performance in the interview, scores in the written test (or, in one of the four national level entrance tests mentioned below), and marks obtained in 10th, 12th and undergraduate /bachelor’s examinations.
The institute will conduct an online interview for shortlisted candidates, which will consist of a writing exercise to test the candidate's verbal, IT and social awareness. The decision of the admissions committee on this matter shall be final.
IIIT Bangalore M.Sc in Digital Society Admission 2022: Exam Pattern
The institute will conduct a written exam for the candidates who don't have a valid score in the competitive exams like CAT 2021, CEED 2022, CUCET 2022 or TISS NET 2022.
The written exam will be conducted online on June 4, 2022, for a duration of 90 minutes.
The online proctored entrance exam will have four sections.
- Numerical Ability (20 MCQs)
- Analytical Ability (20 MCQs)
- Design Awareness (20MCQs)
- IT and Social Awareness and Written Communication: 1 Essay (No more than 700 words)
