Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be concluding the re-registration process for its July 2021 cycle on July 31. Applicants can submit their applications for the July sessions by visiting the official website’ ignou.samath.edu.in
IGNOU had started accepting application forms for all the courses except MPB, MP, and MCA courses.
The university conducts the re-registration process only for those students who have already enrolled in one of the courses offered at the university.
To provide more clarification, the university has released a statement which stated that re-registration implies registering for the next semester/year of a programme. Thus it is only applicable to candidates who have already enrolled in UG/PG or semester-based programmes of 2 or 3 years.

Candidates should also remember that they can re-register for the next semester even if they have not submitted or completed their assignments of the previous semester.

IGNOU: How to Re-Register for July 2021 Session
IGNOU has launched a new portal to streamline its registration process for existing students. The new portal is called Samarth Portal.
The students who were previously registered on the old portal will have to create a new account on the Samarth portal as a one time step.
This will ensure that their academic history is traced correctly and accurately. After that, they can follow the given steps to re-register for the courses.
Step 1: Visit the official website; ignou.samarth.edu
Step 2: Tech student portal will be opened up. Use your credentials to sign in
Step 3: Verify the captcha and click on the login
Step 4: After that, all you have to do is select the course for which you want to re-register
