ICSE, ISC 2021 Pre-Board Examinations Expected to Commence from Jan 10, Read Details Here


Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to conduct the Pre-Board examinations of ICSE and ISC from January 10, 2021, in Lucknow. 

According to CISCE, two pre-board exams will be held in schools before the final exams of ICSE (10th) and ISC (12th) in Lucknow. The first Pre-board examination is most likely to take place from January 10, 2021, while the second pre-board examinations are scheduled to be held in the last week of February 2021. 

Furthermore, CISCE is making efforts to hold both ICSE and ISC Board Exams in April 2021. In view of the exam, the Unaided Private School Association has created a suggestive program.

As per media reports, the board is gearing up to finalize the dates for the ICSE 10th and ISC 12th exam 2021. Board exams might be conducted in the month of April or May.

In addition, the Chief Executive and Secretary Council for the CISCE wrote to the Chief Election Commissioner of India to provide the poll schedule of the States where elections will be held in April and May so the board exams date sheet can be finalized accordingly.

The council also directed all the State Chief Ministers to permit schools to reopen partially from January 2021 onwards, particularly for students of Classes 10 and 12, who have their boards this year.

Last year, the ICSE, ISC board exams were scheduled in February and March but canceled due to COVID-19 Pandemic. All the schools and colleges across the country were shut in March to prevent the spread of the virus. 

Although schools were then partially reopened in some states from October 15, 2020. However, many states have taken a decision to keep the schools closed because of rising cases of the COVID-19 virus.
